| Trina Curry –TPC’s Yoga Instructor Trina has been instructing yoga in the Seattle and Eastside areas for more than 10 years and has studied with and is certified by many inspiring teachers, including Ana Forrest, Bikram and Rajashree Choudhury, Shiva Rea, Bryan Kest, Helen Garabedian and many others. She enjoys discovering and practicing many different yoga styles but is most fond of Forrest yoga. Besides yoga, Trina loves participating in pilates, Zumba, kickboxing, and barre 3 classes. She also enjoys playing golf, mountain biking and snowboarding. Trina has been instructing the TPC Signature Yoga Class since 2004. Trina's TPC classes are constructed and based on the teachings of Ana Forrest, creator of Forrest Yoga. Trina encourages each person to listen to their own body and practice their poses with integrity, compassion and awareness. Her classes are customized and sequenced with emphasis on allowing individuals of all fitness levels to participate and enjoy. In the Fall through Spring months, Trina also offers Itsy Bitsy Yoga sessions for babies and toddlers (crawling through age 4), which are designed to involve movement and interaction between the child and their caregiver. | ![]() |
| Courtney Latta – TPC’s Core Strengthening & Conditioning Instructor Courtney Latta’s Yoga-Pilates classes off er time-tested yoga and STOTT PILATES practices that help us lead healthy, happy eff ective lives. Courtney has been practicing since 1989 and teaching since 2004. She has studied extensively in Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga. Drawing from the common threads of the Iyengar and Ashtanga traditions, classes emphasize proper alignment and breath. In 2009 she certified in the Internationally known and respected STOTT PILATES method. She believes firmly in the path of direct experience and encourages her students to follow their inner teacher fi rst and foremost. Courtney teaches muscle and body awareness with sequences that challenge, promote balance and health. The STOTT PILATES method incorporates modern exercise principles, including spinal rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. Courtney’s program is designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints, placing more emphasis on scapular stabilization. As well, there are more preparatory exercises and modifi cations to cater to many diff erent body types and abilities, making it applicable to everyday life. | ![]() |
| Kelly Saunders – TPC’s Zumba Instructor Kelly has enjoyed the benefits of physical exercise her whole life. She danced both ballet and jazz from the age of 4. She took up running in her early 20s which led her to run half marathon and 10k races here in the Pacific Northwest. She became certified as a group fitness instructor for the 2nd time in 2008 and began teaching strength, cardio and core strength classes at Ridge Fitness. In 2010 she became a licensed Zumba instructor and now teaches Zumba at CVES, SMS and Ridge Fitness. She enjoys sharing her passion for physical fitness with others who are looking to live a healthy lifestyle. | ![]() |
