The Boeing Classic is an official event on the PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour.
Watch as 78 tour professionals return to hit 54 holes of stroke play with no cut at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge for a purse valued at $1.9 million. The Boeing Classic is televised by the Golf Channel Friday, August 27 to Sunday, August 29.

In the past five years, almost $3 million has been raised for Virginia Mason Medical Center and additional Greater Seattle Charities. In 2010, the Boeing Classic will benefit The Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason Medical Center.

Loren Roberts Wins the 2009 Boeing Classic with Tournament Record Score
Loren Roberts overtook Mark O’Meara with birdies on the final two holes, shooting a 65 and winning by a shot with a tournament record 18-under 198 in front of a crowd of 30,000 on Championship Sunday. Roberts pitched to about 2 feet from 50 yards on the par-5, 18th hole, then made the putt for his third title of the 2009 season.
PAST CHAMPIONS – HOW THEY FARED
The tournament’s previous three champions obviously have an affinity for the Boeing Classic and TPC Snoqualmie Ridge. In 2008, Tom Kite captured his second Boeing Classic title (the other in 2006) as he shot a final round score of 66, coming back from a deficit behind Scott Simpson. Kite finished -14 (69-67-66).
In 2007 Champion Denis Watson won the largest playoff in PGA TOUR history by putting to win in a seven man-playoff.
In 2005, inaugural Champion David Eger, shot two-under on Sunday (70-72-70).
TOURNAMENT ATTENDANCE
With beautiful summer weather throughout the 2009 Boeing Classic week of events, tournament records were broken with almost 70,000 in attendance. 30,000 of these spectators came out to watch on Championship Sunday.
